Courageous Love
Courageous Love began with a simple but difficult question:
What happens when we stop surviving our stories and begin using them to build something better?
Created by Tyson Pete, Courageous Love is an expanding body of books, conversations, resources and experiences exploring fatherhood, family, identity, generational healing, relationships, accountability, emotional growth and legacy.
The work began by addressing an often-overlooked audience through Courageous Love: A Self-Help Guide for Gay Fathers and has grown into a much larger conversation about how people and families heal.
Courageous Love does not ask readers to pretend pain did not happen.
It asks what they are going to build from what happened next.

Fatherhood literature has not always made room for every father.
Tyson Pete wrote Courageous Love: A Self-Help Guide for Gay Fathers to help change that.
The book speaks directly to gay fathers navigating parenting, identity, relationships, belonging, emotional wellness, community and the everyday responsibility of building a healthy home.
The work went on to receive the 2025 Regal Summit Book Award for Best Parenting Book, helping establish Courageous Love as the foundation for a much larger collection.

Tyson Pete is an award-winning author, speaker, certified life coach, entrepreneur, culinary professional, recording artist and nonprofit founder whose work centers on healing, fatherhood, family, identity and legacy.
But the titles are not the story.
The story is what connects them.
Writing became a way to give language to difficult experiences.
Fatherhood became a reason to grow beyond them.
Service became a way to make the lessons useful to others.
And Courageous Love became the thread connecting it all.

Inc. is a nonprofit organization created to strengthen gay fathers, LGBTQ+ parents and their families through education, community, advocacy, resources and opportunities for growth. Because visibility matters. But families also need infrastructure. They need information. They need support. They need community. And they deserve spaces built with their entire family in mind.
